Step 3: Identify the Gaps
At some point, you will get stuck. You will realize you don't actually know why the interest rate affects inflation, you just memorized that it does. This is the gap in your knowledge.
Step 4: Review and Simplify
Go back to your textbook, figure out the missing piece, and then simplify your explanation even further.
