To provide a personalized revision experience, we collect:

• Account Info: Email address, name, and profile picture (via Google Sign-In or credentials).
• Profile Preferences: Your selected subjects, target grades, and current exam session.
• Activity Data: Login dates and daily activity to power our "Study Streaks" and track your revision history.
• Discord Integration: If you link your Discord account, we securely store your Discord ID and Username to provide exclusive server roles and synchronize your streaks.

2. How We Use Your Data

Your information is exclusively used to power the Revision Grid platform. We use it to save your bookmarks, calculate your daily streaks, provide personalized past paper recommendations, and secure your account. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with advertising agencies or third-party marketers.

3. Automated Communications

To help you stay on track, we use automated transactional emails and Discord Direct Messages (if linked) to send you reminders when you are at risk of losing your Study Streak, as well as essential account security notices. You can opt out of these reminders in your account settings.

4. Cookies and Analytics

We use browser localStorage for essential functions (theme preference, session token). We utilize minimal authentication cookies. For analytics, we use Vercel Analytics, which is completely anonymized and cookie-less, to monitor website performance and traffic without tracking individual users.

5. Data Security & Removal

All data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored securely in industry-standard databases. Passwords are cryptographically hashed and never stored in plaintext. You may request a complete export or permanent deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting privacy@revisiongrid.com.
